Ronnie Chance is a former Republican member of the Georgia State Senate representing District 16 from 2005 to 2015. Chance did not seek re-election in 2014. He served as State Senate Majority Leader from 2013 to 2014.

Biography

Chance earned his B.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia State University's School of Business. His professional experience includes working as a Political Adviso and District Director for United States Representative Mac Collins.

Chance ran in the 2012 election for Georgia State Senate District 16. Chance ran unopposed in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012. No Democratic candidate filed to run for this seat. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2] Chance won re-election in the general election.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Chance won re-election to the Georgia Senate from Georgia's 16th Senate district. Chance received 49,127 votes in the election, defeating Jerry Brilliant (D), who received 23,681 votes.[5] Chance raised $163,791 for his campaign in 2008; Brilliant raised $5,925.[6]
