Ronnie Jones (Democratic Party) was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 1.
Jones (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 2. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Jones served in the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 1 from 2010 to 2014.
Biography
Jones attended Weir High School. Jones is a retired general foreman and local business owner. He has served on the Weirton City Council, Weirton Area Water Board, Weirton Planning Commission, and the Weirton Parks and Recreation board.[1][2]

2014
Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 1 is represented by two delegates. Incumbents Ronnie Jones and Randy Swartzmiller were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Pat McGeehan and Mark Zatezalo were unopposed in the Republican primary. Swartzmiller and Zatezalo defeated McGeehan and Jones in the general election.[7][8]
2012
Jones ran for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 1. Jones and incumbent Randy Swartzmiller defeated Marilyn S. Boyd in the May 8 Democratic primary election. He and Swartzmiller defeated Justin Bull (R) and Carl Thompson (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10][11]
2010
Jones was elected to District 1. Jones was one of three candidates running for the two positions in District 1 on the ballot in the November 2, 2010, general election. Jones' opponents were Democratic incumbent Randy Swartzmiller and independent candidate Amanda Mesler. The top two vote-getters were elected.[12][13]
