Ronnie W. Boyett was a judge for the Newton County Court in Newton County, Texas. He was elected to the court in November 2014, for a term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2018. [1] Boyett passed away in May 2015 after sustaining injuries from a tree falling on him while cutting down trees on his land.[2]
