Rosalie Bailey
Rosalie Bailey was a judge for the Erie County Family Court in New York. She was appointed to this position in 2003 and was elected later that year. Her term ended in 2013.[1]
Education
Bailey received her undergraduate degree from the American University in 1970 and her J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1973.[2]
Career
Bailey began her career in 1973 as an attorney for Legal Aid while running her own private law practice part-time. She became a law clerk for Justice Norman Wolf, Jr. of the state Supreme Court in 1978. She also worked as a referee and developed the Expedited Matrimonial Part program. She was appointed to the family court bench in 2003.[3]
