A Roscommon Township Road Maintenance Tax Levy Renewal proposal was approved on the May 7, 2013, election ballot in Roscommon County, which is in Michigan.
This measure authorized the Township of Roscommon to renew a property tax levy of 0.50 mill ($0.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 5 years in order to fund road maintenance. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $70,016.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | Shall the expired previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Roscommon Township, of .50 mills ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value), be renewed at the original voted .50 mills, ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for 5 years, 2013-2017 inclusive, for road maintenance, raising an estimated $70,016 in the first year the millage is levied.[1][2] | ” |
