Rose Lippincott was candidate for the Papillion-La Vista Board of Education in the Nebraska general election on November 4, 2014. While the office in nonpartisan, Lippincott is a Republican.[1] Rose Lippincott lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Lippincott announced the week prior to the election that her family was moving out of the district and she would not be able to serve if elected. Her name, however, remained on the ballot.[2]

The election in Papillion-La Vista featured three at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election. Incumbents Connie S. Bowne and Patricia Conway-Boyd ran against challengers Matt Barrall, Lee Denker and Rose Lippincott for the seats. Fellow board member Mike Jones did not file for re-election.

Lippincott was endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Nebraska.[4]

Lippincott said she is running for the board in order to bridge a gap in communication between the district and its residents. If elected she said that she would deal with the issue through letters, emails and in-person interactions at meetings and events.[5]
