Rose Marie Rogers
Rose Marie Rogers (b. September 27, 1927) was a 2016 Democratic candidate for Strafford 22 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
Rogers is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Strafford 22 from 2012 to 2014. She also served in the House previously, representing Strafford 1 from 2008 to 2010.
Biography
Rogers earned her B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, and M.S.W. from the University of Connecticut. Now retired, her professional experience includes social work.[1]

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Rose Marie Rogers was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Thomas L. Kaczynski, Jr. was unopposed in the Republican primary. Rogers and Kaczynski faced off in the general election.[6] Kaczynski defeated Rogers in the general election.[7]

Rogers won election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Strafford 22. Rogers was unopposed in the September 11 primary and defeated incumbent Fred Leonard (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]

Rogers failed to advance past the November 2, 2010, general election.
Rogers advanced past the September 14 primary election. She faced incumbent Sandra Keans (D), incumbent Anne Grassie (D), incumbent Elaine Lauterborn (D), incumbent William Brennan (D), incumbent Pamela Hubbard (D), incumbent Warren Groen (R), incumbent Julie Brown (R), Shawn Mickelonis (D), Pete Dow (D), Sandra Teti (D), Laura Jones (R), Cliff Newton (R), Kyle Jones (R), Fred Leonard (R), Bernhard McKay (R), Susan DeLemus (R), and Evelyn Logan (R) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Rogers finished ninth for the nine-seat Strafford 1 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, receiving 5,474 votes, behind Democrats Sandra Keans (6,537), Anne Grassie (6,525), Pamela Hubbard (5,887), William Brennan (5,784), and Republicans Julie Brown (5,739), James Twombly (5,623), Warren Groen (5,531) and Others (49).[10]
