Rose Quave Dominguez

Rose Quave Dominguez is a Republican District I representative on the Tangipahoa Parish School Board in Louisiana. She was first elected to the board in 2006. She most recently won re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014.
Elections
2014
All nine seats on the Tangipahoa Parish School Board were up for election in 2014. Seven of the races were contested. The races in Districts A, E, F and G featured no incumbents running for re-election.
The District A contest was not resolved in the primary election as no candidate received 50 percent plus one of the votes. Eric Brumfield (D), Walter Daniels (D) and Jimmy Richardson (D) ran for District A. Brumfield and Daniels advanced to the general election on December 6, 2014.
The District D contenders were Mark Camelo (D) and Therese P. Domiano (I). Eric Dangerfield (D) and Tara Hudgins (R) vied for the District G seat. District F incumbent Christina "Chris" Cohea (I) originally filed to run for re-election, but later withdrew from the race. Mike Whitlow (R) and Joyce Young (R) ran for the open seat.[1]
Three incumbents faced challengers in the primary election. District B incumbent Gail Pittman-McDaniel (R) was challenged by Dudley Settoon (R). Sandra Bailey-Simmons (R), the District H incumbent, ran for re-election against Roy Hutchinson (R). Beth Davis (R) challenged District I incumbent Rose Quave Dominguez (R).[1]
Only District C and E were uncontested. Incumbents Andy Anderson (R) of District C and Brett K. Duncan (R) of District E were re-elected without opposition on August 22, 2014.[1]

Funding
Dominquez began the race with an existing account balance of $337.76 from her prior campaign. As of October 31, 2014, she reported $4,700.00 in contributions and $4,023.15 in expenditures to the Louisiana Ethics Administration Program, which left her campaign with $1,541.61 on hand.[2]
