Yes for Oak Creek Schools candidate profile

The group Yes for Oak Creek Schools published candidate profiles on its website. Annonson's answers to the group's questions can be found below. The bolded text indicates the questions provided by Yes for Oak Creek Schools.

WHY ARE YOU SEEKING SCHOOL BOARD OFFICE AT THIS TIME?

My concern is preparedness of the average student. The low curriculum and low grading standards which are very misleading to both student and parent as well as ever rising costs.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR PRIORITIES AS A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER?
Higher curriculum and grading standards. Cost efficiency and I continue to promote a second shift, individualized core curriculum at the HS level to meet rising student space and educational needs.[11]

—Rosemarie Annonson (2016)[6]

Oak Creek Now candidate survey

Oak Creek Now asked the candidates in this race the following two bolded questions. Annonson's responses are shown below.

Why are you running for a seat on the school board?

I'm concerned with the quality of education. The low grading and curriculum. I'm also very concerned with the debt and rising costs. How can we offset costs and not raise taxes? Should public employees receive raises when the nation is in a depression?[11]
—Rosemarie Annonson (2016)[12]

What is one major change you would like to see within the district?

In-district Open Enrollment that will allow parents to send their children to any school in the district if there is room. Also, more parental involvement at the classroom level. I want "you" in the classroom correcting your child, so the teacher can teach and you can parent.[11]
