Rosemary Moriarty was a candidate for the District 8 seat on the Pittsburgh Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. She filed to run in both the Republican and Democratic primaries. Four of the nine seats on the Pittsburgh Board of Directors were up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.

Incumbent Regina B. Holley won the District 2 seat without opposition. Lynda Wrenn and Moira B. Kaleida also won without opposition for the seats in Districts 4 and 6, respectively. Kevin L. Carter (D) defeated Rosemary Moriarty (R) for the District 8 seat.

Wrenn defeated Kirk B. Burkley in the primary election. Samuel J. Hurst and Tracy Link were defeated in the primary election for District 6. Patricia Rogers lost the primary election in District 8. No independent candidates filed to run in the general election.[1][2]
