A Rosemead School District Bond Issue, Measure RS ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the Rosemead School District in Los Angeles County, California. It was approved.
Measure RS authorized the district to issue $30 million in bonds to benefit the Rosemead School District. The funds were designed to be used to repair classrooms, bathrooms, plumbing, leaky roofs and windows; remove asbestos and lead paint; upgrade school security and fire safety; upgrade classroom technology and repair, construct and acquire educational facilities and equipment.[1]
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure RS.

To improve schools by repairing deteriorating classrooms, bathrooms and plumbing; leaky roofs/windows; removing asbestos/lead paint; upgrading school security/ fire safety; upgrading classroom technology/science labs; and repairing, constructing, and acquiring educational facilities, sites, and equipment; shall Rosemead School District issue 30 million dollars in bonds, at legal rates, requiring annual independent financial audits and independent citizens’ oversight, no money for administrators’ salaries and pensions, and all funds used locally?
