Roshawn Banks
Roshawn Banks was a candidate for the Broward County Court of Florida in 2012.[1]
Education
Banks received her B.S. degree from Florida State University in 1995 and her J.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1998.[2]
Career
Banks began her career as an Assistant Broward County Attorney. She spent two years in that position before becoming an Assistant Public Defender for Broward and Brevard counties. After five years, she joined The All Law Center, P.A., where she has practiced for seven years. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at the Nova Southeastern University Law School and has served as a special magistrate for the Broward County Value Adjustment Board.Cite error: Closing </ref>

2012 election
Banks was defeated for election to the Broward County Court by incumbent Judge Robert F. Diaz on Nov. 6, 2012, receiving 41.3% of the vote. Banks received 28.0% of the vote in the primary on August 14, 2012.[3][4][1][5]
