Royce Gibson was a candidate for the Precinct 6 seat on the Granite School Board in Utah. He was defeated by challenger Karyn Hermansen Winder in the general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Julene Jolley withdrew from the election.

The November 4, 2014, general election in the Granite School District featured four seats up for election. Incumbents Connie Burgess, Terry H. Bawden and Gayleen Gandy were all re-elected unopposed in Precincts 3, 5 and 7, respectively. Two challengers, Karyn Hermansen Winder and Royce Gibson, competed for the Precinct 6 seat since incumbent Julene Jolley withdrew from the election, with Winder coming out on top.
