Ruben Guerrero
Ruben Guerrero was the judge of Texas District 174.[1] Guerrero was elected to this court in 2008, assuming office on January 1, 2009.[2][3] He was re-elected on November 6, 2012, for a term that expired in 2016.[4]

Guerrero ran for re-election to the 174th District Court and defeated challenger Robert Summerlin with 50.4% of the vote.[5][4]

Education
Guerrero received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and his J.D. from Texas Southern University.[6]
Career
Guerrero has previously served as judge of the 263rd District Court. He also maintained a private law practice.[2]
