Rupen Shah
Rupen Shah is a judge for the Virginia 25th Judicial District. He was appointed by unanimous votes of the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia State Senate on January 25, 2017. Shah became the first Indian-American judge in the state's history when his appointment took effect on February 1, 2017.[1]
Biography
Shah was the chief deputy commonwealth's attorney for Augusta County at the time of his judicial appointment.[2]
