Russ Childers
Russ Childers was a member of the Rockwall Independent School District school board in Texas, representing Place 2. Childers assumed office in 2009. Childers left office on May 17, 2021.
Childers won re-election to the Rockwall Independent School District school board to represent Place 2 in Texas outright after the general election on May 5, 2018, was canceled.
Biography
Childers works at Lakeside Insurance Group in Rockwall, Texas. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1987. He has a bachelor's degree in agricultural science from Texas Tech University.[1]

The general election was canceled. Russ Childers (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
2015
The general election on May 9, 2015, in Rockwall Independent School District featured three seats up for election. In the Place 2 race, incumbent Russ Childers defeated challenger Marcel Clark in his bid for re-election. The incumbents in Places 1 and 3, Chris Cuny and Linda Mitchell Duran, respectively, were unopposed and won re-election by default.
