Elections

2020

Note: After the filing deadline for this election, Eman Afshar's application was declared to be invalid. Because Afshar was disqualified from the race after December 10, 2019, his name remained on the ballot, but votes cast for him did not count. Once his votes were disregarded, Israel Garcia received more than a majority of votes cast in the Democratic primary, which allowed him to advance to the general election without a primary runoff.[1]
