Russ Warner
Russ Warner was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 40 of the California State Assembly. He was previously a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 31st Congressional District of California but dropped out of that race to run for the California State Assembly.

Warner ran in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 40. He and incumbent Mike Morrell (R) advanced past the blanket primary on June 5, 2012. He was subsequently defeated in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
Warner ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 31st District. Warner dropped out of the race in January to run for state assembly.[4]
