Beall ran for election to the 21st Judicial District.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 21.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Michael Betts and Jeff Johnson.

Beall received his B.A. and J.D. from Louisiana State University in 1998 and 2001, respectively.[3]

Beall is a founding partner of the law firm Beall & Thies, LLC.[3]
