Russell Lee Moore was a circuit court judge for the Twenty-Ninth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He has served as a judge since 1997 and was re-elected to the court on August 7, 2014. His current eight-year term expires in 2022.[1][2]

Moore received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi in 1968 and 1971, respectively.[1]

Career

Moore spent his pre-judicial career as an attorney for the law firm of Ewell & Farmer, where he worked from 1971 to 1997. He then joined the Twenty-Ninth Circuit Court.[1]
