Education
McLean received his undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University and his law degree from Western North Carolina Unversity.[1]
Professional career
McLean's career began with his service in the U.S. Army, which occurred between his time as an undergraduate and a law student. After graduating from law school, he went into private practice.[1]
