Russell Roeca
Russell Roeca is a judge of the Superior Court of San Francisco County in California. He assumed office in 2020. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Roeca won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of San Francisco County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Roeca was appointed to the court by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on August 28, 2020, to replace Carol Yaggy.[1]
Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Roeca's appointment on August 28, 2020, identified Roeca as a Democrat.[1]
