Russell W. Stamper
Russell Stamper is a member of the Milwaukee Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 15. He assumed office in 2014. His current term ends in 2028.
Stamper ran for re-election to the Milwaukee Common Council to represent District 15 in Wisconsin. He won in the general election on April 2, 2024.
Biography
Stamper is from Milwaukee, Wis. and attended Messmer High School. He received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Alabama State University and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. He also earned a certificate in professional grant writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His professional experience includes working as a program supervisor for the New Concept Self Development Center and as a lead integrated services liaison with the Social Development Commission.[1]

The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, held elections for mayor and city council on April 5, 2016. A primary election took place on February 16, 2016. All 15 city council seats were up for election. Incumbent Russell W. Stamper defeated Sean Muhammad in the Milwaukee City Council District 15 general election.[2]
