I am a hardworking, mature businessman and entrepreneur seeking to replace the lowest performing incumbent currently serving. As a native Texan and alumnus of Texas A&M University, husband, father, and grandfather, I suggest that I represent a significant upgrade from the current somnambulant man sitting in the Precinct 1 Justice court. I have been a lifelong Republican, but also a believer in the power of the common folks to decide their own issues and direction. I’d rather be judged by 12 random people from Williamson Co. than the so-called “experts” of the liberal elites.
  • Empower parents and get our kids in school and learning.
  • Get our justice court back up to the levels of the other Wilco courts.
  • Respect the dead! No tardy responses or “no shows” for death duties.
We must focus on education like a laser beam! While the duties of the justice court regarding truancy have been truncated by the Legislature, we can take a pro-active position to help inspire and, when necessary, propel our young scholars to learn and excel. Our young people are our future, and it’s our duties as elders and leaders to see that they have every opportunity to learn right action, proper manners, patriotism, and reverence of tradition and religion to be the future citizens and leaders we so desperately require.
1. Character

2. Moral basis
3. Work ethic

4. Respect for the people and the office
Honesty, integrity, work ethic, traditional Christian values.
Clean up the cesspool of the current Pct. 1 Justice Court. Get things operating smoothly and efficiently, followed by empowering parents to make all necessary education decisions for their sons and daughters.
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. An unrealistic ideal for society, but points out all the problems of the nanny state, and political business cronyism.
It Is Well With My Soul, from church recently.
I’ve got 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and have been married for 37 years. Life is a struggle.
The J. P. can be a significant force in getting our young students back to school.
Enforce the letter of the law, while respecting the spirit of the law.
Empathy is the source of mercy, and softens the blow of the law on the lowest rungs of our society. Knowledge, empathy, and wisdom are the triad supporting a just judge.
The current Justice Court in Pct. 1 is underperforming vs. every other Court in Williamson County. I will get case clearing rates, and trials, up to scratch, and start proactive programs — like Teen Court — to re-engage our our youth in school.
We must re-engage the judicial system to follow our Constitution — both State and Federal — and the general western, Judeo-Christian, Greco-Roman ethos that reflect the values of our culture and the majority of our citizens. Common sense from the salt of the earth will prevail!

At the J. P. level, we must reinforce and supply an adamantine foundation for the parents of our young scholars to educate them in traditional values, patriotism, and clean living. High school graduation, marriage, home ownership, and hard work lead to material and moral success.
