Rusty DeBorde

Rusty DeBorde is a former Position 2 member on the Pearland school board in Texas. He was defeated by Mike Floyd in the by-district general election on May 6, 2017.
On May 10, 2014, he triumphed over challenger Suzanne Johnson in the general election.
Biography
DeBorde was the owner of Texas Signature Builders when first elected to the board. He graduated from Pearland ISD in 1988 and has his bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. He and his wife, Keri, a district teacher, have two daughters who attended Pearland ISD schools.[1]

2017
Three of seven seats on the Pearland Independent School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. Incumbent Charles Gooden Jr. was the sole candidate to file for the Position 1 seat. Challenger Mike Floyd defeated incumbent Rusty DeBorde in the race for Position 2. Incumbent Pam Boegler defeated challengers Trevor Hale and Al Lloyd in the race for Position 3.[2][3]
