Rusty Glover (Republican Party) is running for election to the Alabama State Senate to represent District 34. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]
Glover (Republican Party) was a member of the Alabama State Senate, representing District 34. He assumed office in 2006. He left office in 2018.
Previously, Glover served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2003 to 2006.
Biography
Rusty Glover was born in Mobile, Alabama.[1] Glover earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education, a master's degree in secondary education, and a master's degree in history from the University of South Alabama.[2] His career experience includes working as a history teacher with Mary G. Montgomery High School.[2][3]

Elections for the Alabama State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Rusty Glover was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[4][5][6][7]
