A Rutland Township Cemetery Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Meigs County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the township of Rutland to renew a property tax levy of 0.3 mills ($0.3 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the maintenance and operation of cemeteries.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Rutland Township for the purpose of Maintaining and Operating Cemeteries at a 

rate not exceeding .3 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to three cents ($0.03) for each one hundred  dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2]
