Ryan Alarid was a candidate for Ward 6 representative on the Las Vegas City Council in Nevada. He was defeated in the primary election on April 4, 2017. Click here to read Alarid's response to Ballotpedia's 2017 municipal candidate survey.

Although city council elections in Las Vegas are officially nonpartisan, Alarid identified as a member of the Republican Party.[1]

Alarid earned a B.S. in business and marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.[1]

At the time of his 2017 run for office, Alarid was the founder and owner of the natural supplement company Native Vitality. His professional experience also includes work as the president and CEO of the social networking company Frucle and the chief of business development for the sports betting site Pregame.com.[1][2]
