Ryan Erwin is founder and president of RedRock Strategies, a national political consulting and public affairs firm. He has worked on strategy and political campaigns for candidates and elected officials in Nevada and across the nation.
Career
Ryan Erwin attended The Ohio State University and worked for the Republican Party of Ohio from 1990 through 1991. He served as an auditor for the state of Ohio in 1997 before relocating to become executive director of the Republican Party of Nevada in 1999. He transitioned to chief operating officer of the Republican Party of California in 2001.[1][2]
In 2003, Erwin became a partner with November Inc., a Las Vegas-based political consulting and advertising firm. He founded his own political consulting firm, Ryan Erwin Associates, in 2005. Erwin later founded RedRock Strategies, a national political consulting and public affairs firm, in 2011. The firm has offices in Las Vegas, Nev., Austin, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
Erwin's political clients have included Republican Congressman Mark Amodei, Republican Congressman Joe Heck, Republican Congressman Cresent Hardy and former Republican Lieutenant Governor of Nevada Brian Krolicki. Erwin also served as a senior adviser to Romney for President Inc., former Republican Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, from 2007 through 2011. His corporate clients have included Burson-Marsteller and Medicus Insurance Company.[2][3][4][5]
In 2013, Campaigns & Elections magazine named Erwin to the Influencers 500—a list of key Democratic and Republican political influencers in each state—for his work in Republican Nevada politics.[2]
