Career
Finley worked as a web developer at Sonic Foundry, a video and webcasting company for education, business, and government clients, from 1997 to 1999. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999 with a degree in computer science. After graduation, Finley founded SurveyMonkey, an online survey software company.[1][3][4]
After its formation in 1999, SurveyMonkey grew to be the world's most popular survey software. Finley managed the company's product design and strategy.[5][6]
Community engagement
Finley served on the Oregon advisory board of Stand for Children, a national nonprofit organization that aimed to guarantee that all children are able to graduate from high school and have the opportunity to pursue a college degree or career training.[7][8]
