Ryan Grimm attended Slippery Rock University and majored in Environmental Studies.

He chose to return to the area and is currently employed at the Elk County Conservation District as a Resource Conservation Technician. A native of Cameron County, Ryan Grimm was regularly influenced by his strong commitment to family and his community. Grimm developed a robust team dynamic where he was often a leader in sports, "I have always appreciated the teachers, mentors, and coaches that have shaped my character throughout the years, so I know how critical education and extracurricular activities are to families in our area." From a young age, Ryan Grimm was drawn to the outdoors and is truly passionate about maintaining a healthy environment. "I'm an avid hunter and fisherman, and I know how important Elk and Clearfield Counties' forests and streams are to residents and tourists

alike."

Improve support services for the aging population of our region, and help to increase rehabilitation and counseling services for those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
My wife is someone I look up to greatly. She balances family, school, work, and her social life better than anyone else I know. She also is the first person to lend a helping hand and would rather watch everyone else succeed before herself.

I would like to follow former Senator of Hawaii Daniel Inouye. This man was a Japanese immigrant that fought in WWII, lost his arm while serving, and then moved on to become the President pro tempore of the US Senate. Senator Inouye also never lost an election. His vast prospective and undeniable leadership makes him someone I would have loved to been able to follow.

To leave our area to our children better than we found it.
I worked for a construction company through high school and all through college.
The most important difference between the House and the Senate is that local problems in the House can be brought to regional attention in the Senate.
Sustainable economic growth that carries a symbiotic relationship with the environment.
