I know how to hold the powerful accountable—I've taken on Big Pharma and billionaires, serving as a representative for over 120,000 victims in the Purdue Pharma bankruptcy case, and won. But my fight isn't just about healthcare; it's about ensuring every Nevadan has a fair shot. I am running to tackle the affordability crisis head-on, lower costs for working families, and bring good-paying jobs to our state.
Whether it's standing up to predatory corporate practices or fighting for economic relief, I am committed to delivering real, community-driven solutions. Recently named to the 2026 TIME100 Health list, I am ready to bring that same fierce advocacy to Carson City. I live in Las Vegas with my husband, Sean, and our dogs, Quincy and Alfie.- My journey into public policy is personal: Medicaid saved my life. As someone in long-term recovery, I’ve spent over a decade fighting for everyday people pushed aside by broken systems. I know how to hold the powerful accountable—I took on Big Pharma and billionaires as a representative for over 120,000 victims in the Purdue Pharma bankruptcy case, and won. In the Assembly, I will fight to protect access to quality, affordable healthcare and mental health services, stand up to predatory insurance practices, and ensure no Nevadan has to choose between life-saving care and putting food on the table.
- I am running to be a fierce champion for the underdog and working families in District 9. We are facing an affordability crisis, and it’s time our government tackles it head-on. As a small business owner, I understand the economic challenges our community faces. I am committed to lowering everyday costs, bringing good-paying jobs to our state, and fighting back against corporate price-gouging. Whether it’s the cost of housing, groceries, or utilities, I will work tirelessly to ensure that our economy works for everyone, giving every family a fair shot to build a secure future.
- I am a community advocate and problem solver, not a career politician. By founding the non-profit Mobilize Recovery, I learned that the best solutions come from the ground up, giving folks with lived experience a seat at the decision-making table. I believe in bringing people together to solve complex issues rather than engaging in partisan bickering. I will bring this same collaborative, results-oriented approach to Carson City. My focus will always be on delivering real, tangible results for District 9, ensuring our government is transparent, accountable, and responsive to our neighborhoods.
Beyond healthcare, I am fiercely passionate about economic affordability. We must enact policies that lower the cost of housing and everyday essentials, create good-paying jobs, and stop corporate price-gouging. I believe in practical, community-driven solutions that give every working family in Nevada a fair shot at a secure future.
Congresswoman Susie Lee (DEM)
Congressman Ro Khanna (DEM)

- Lowering Costs: Ryan knows the impact rising costs have on working families. He’ll work to ensure that Nevadans can keep their hard-earned dollars and enjoy a high quality of life—by working to pass legislation to streamline supply chains, keeping energy costs down, & holding corporations accountable for taking advantage of people.
Keeping Our Communities Safe: Ryan will work across the aisle to ensure police & first responders have the tools they need to keep our communities safe.
Housing: For buyers and renters, housing is becoming increasingly unaffordable for many Nevadans. Ryan will work on policies & initiatives to support the development of workforce housing—& protect homeowners & renters from runaway HOAs. - Creating Jobs & Improving Workforce Development: Ryan will prioritize job creation and workforce development—giving hardworking Nevadans an edge in a competitive job market and more opportunities for high-paying careers. He’ll work with both parties to make smart investments to lure major employers to our state and continue to diversify Nevada’s economy. Supporting Our Small Businesses: As an entrepreneur himself, Ryan knows the small business community is the heart of our economy. He’ll work to support his fellow small business owners—and lower bureaucratic burdens so they can succeed and thrive. He supports cutting red tape to streamline the startup process—and investing in business incubation programs for new business owners.
- Protecting Our Fundamental Freedoms & Defending Liberty: Extreme partisan politicians are trying to take away our fundamental rights and freedoms. Ryan will stand up for individual liberties and reproductive freedom. Ending Toxic Politics & Striving for Bipartisan Solutions: Ryan is proud to have worked with Democrats, Republicans, and Independents to make sure that the needs of people come first. In the Assembly, he’ll continue to reach across the aisle to find bipartisan solutions that serve Nevadans. For too long, the toxic nature of partisan politics has paralyzed our system of government. Ryan is committed to lowering the temperature of our political climate—and getting things done for our community.
