Ryan O'Connor
Ryan O'Connor is a judge for Position 1 of the Oregon Court of Appeals. He assumed office on March 31, 2025. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
O'Connor is running for re-election for the Position 1 judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals. He is on the ballot in the primary on May 19, 2026.[source]
Governor Tina Kotek (D) appointed O'Connor to the appellate court on February 19, 2025 to fill the position previously held by Josephine Mooney.[1]
Biography
Prior to his appointment to the appellate court, O'Connor was a partner at an appellate advocacy law firm. His previous professional experience also includes working as a public defender in Oregon.[1]
