This measure sought to increase the current levy by a rate of $1.46 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of twenty years in order to further pay for disability services in the school district.[2] School officials noted that there had not been an increase in the disabilities levy since 1974 and see this as just a way to keep providing the services already offered by the schools.[3]
