Sal Espino
Sal Espino was a member of the Fort Worth City Council in Texas, representing District 2 from 2005 to 2017. Espino served as mayor pro tempore from 2014 to 2017. He opted not to seek re-election to the city council in 2017.[1][2]

The city of Fort Worth, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on May 9, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 27, 2015. All eight city council seats were up for election. In District 2, incumbent Sal Espino defeated Steve Thornton.[3][4]
