Sally Mounier is the former nonpartisan Ward I representative on the Aurora City Council in Colorado. She was appointed to the council on October 4, 2012, to serve a partial term, following the resignation of former Ward 1 representative Melissa Miller. Mounier won election to a full term in 2013. Biography

Mounier's professional experience includes working for RE/MAX Southeast, Inc.; as a congressional staff assistant for Howard H. Baker Jr., Bill Armstrong, and Ken Kramer; as a special assistant in the U.S. Small Business Administration; and as a staff member for the Colorado Republican Party.[1]

The city of Aurora, Colorado, held elections for city council on November 7, 2017. Wards I, II, and III were up for election, as well as two at-large seats. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 29, 2017.[2] Crystal Murillo defeated incumbent Sally Mounier in the Aurora City Council Ward I general election.[3]
