|Sam married his wife Elanda in 2023. As a young child, Elanda and her family legally immigrated to the United States following the fall of communism in Europe, where they witnessed destructive socialist policies first-hand. Sam's family has lived in Florida for nearly 100 years. His great-grandfather ran the barbershop at Coral Gables’ Biltmore Hotel, where Sam and Elanda got married. Sam’s maternal grandfather was a landowner in Flagler County, and his paternal grandfather graduated with one of the first post-war classes from the University of Miami.
Sam is blessed to live and work in a state where the American Dream remains alive. Sam is a conservative fighter who believes that Northeast Florida is the best place in America to raise a family, start a business, and buy a home, and he wants to keep it that way. In Tallahassee, Sam will continue his mission of service, deliver for Flagler and St. Johns Counties, and keep Florida free.- Cost of Living - Lower property and automobile insurance by stopping frivolous lawsuits and fraud while bringing more insurers into the market. Provide tax relief by working to pass and implement Amendment 5 to expand homestead exemptions and save Floridians money.
- Stop Illegal Immigration - Support and empower our law enforcement to combat the drugs and crime flowing into Florida, ensure there are no sanctuary cities or counties in Florida, and end taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants.
- Infrastructure – Advocate for effective policies and secure sufficient funding from the state budget to upgrade and expand infrastructure so that our quality of life remains high, and our economy continues to thrive.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
