Sam Green was a candidate for the Zone 4 seat on the Wilson County Board of Education in Tennessee. He was defeated by fellow challenger Linda Armistead in the general election on August 7, 2014.

The August 7, 2014, general election ballot for Zone 4 included Linda Armistead, incumbent Ron Britt and Sam Green. Incumbent Bill Robinson ran unopposed on the Zone 2 ballot and incumbent Larry Tomlinson ran unopposed in Zone 5.
