Sam Ho was a candidate for the Trustee Area 4 seat on the San Jose Unified Board of Education in the California general election on November 4, 2014. Sam Ho lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

The election in San Jose Unified featured two seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.

Incumbents Richard M. Garcia and Veronica Grijalva Lewis from Trustee Areas 2 and 4, respectively, were up for re-election. Challenger Susan Ellenberg defeated Garcia for the Area 2 seat. Paymon Zarghami also won election to the board by defeating Lewis and Sam Ho for the Area 4 seat.
