My name is Sam Owen I am From Hamilton, MO Graduated in 2014 and move to Fort Scott, KS in 2014. I came in Fort Scott, KS help my grandparents on Farm for 3 years. Went to college here at the Fort Scott Community College for one year. then I started my job with Ward Kraft been with them for 5 yrs. Then got on With Timken Belts for better pay wage in 2021. I did URA rodeo for 5 years of bull riding. This is my First year running for election for Kansas Senate District 13. I am a Republican always been Republican my whole life. Why I am running for office because Taxes is too high in Bourbon County, KS and jobs is leaving in Bourbon County, KS because taxes to high and no Hospital. That's Why I want to make Kansas District 13 Bourbon County, KS, Crawford County, KS and Cherokee County, KS safer and better.

  • Health Care Cost- we need to lower expenses for medical services, insurance premiums, and prescription drugs impact residents’ access to quality health care.
  • Education Funding- Make Schools Better, Safer & more protected. in each county
If I get elected I going do what I say to the American people in this District 13 not just talk about it. I am going get the job done, and get it pass
My first job was at WardKraft been there 7 years
Lower taxes down in this district 13, Health Care and Hospital- Get hospital back in Bourbon County, KS and keep all other hospitals open not close down in other counties, Economic Growth- Infrastructure attracts businesses, creates jobs, and stimulates economic activity. Investments in utilities, broadband, and industrial zones benefit the district. And Increase minimum Wages, Education Funding- Make Schools Better, Safer & more protected. in each county's
