- I am running to protect and strengthen public education, because strong schools are the foundation of opportunity and economic stability. Texas has underfunded public education for too long, harming students, educators and families. I will fight to fully fund our public schools, support teachers and staff, expand student opportunity, and ensure every child has access to high-quality education regardless of zip code, language or socio-economic background.
- I am committed to protecting reproductive health care and expanding access to affordable comprehensive health care for all Texans. Health care decisions should be made by patients and medical professionals, not politicians. Insurance companies should also not stand between people and life-saving medical care. I will fight to restore reproductive freedom, protect access to contraception, protect providers, expand health coverage, and ensure Texans can make health care decisions based on medical need, not politics.
- Texas must make smart, long-term investments that prepare communities for growth and extreme weather while keeping Central Texas affordable. I support workforce development aligned with good-paying jobs, disaster preparedness through wildfire and flood mitigation, a reliable and resilient energy grid, and strong infrastructure. Housing affordability must be part of this work, including prioritizing solutions for teachers, first responders, state employees and state retirees who are being priced out of the communities they serve. Proactive planning and public investment are essential to protect families, strengthen the economy, and ensure Central Texas remains attainable for future generations.
