Sammy Humphrey
Sammy Humphrey was a candidate for the District 1 seat on the Blount County Board of Education in Tennessee. The general election was held on August 7, 2014.
Biography
Humphrey graduated from Heritage High School in 1986 and attended Hiwassee College and Walters State Community College. He has owned Tablerock Custom Homes Inc. for the past 25 years.[1]

The August 7, 2014 general election ballot for District 1 included Sammy Humphrey, Terry Hurst, Joe McCulley and Debbie Sudhoff. Incumbent Charles Finley ran unopposed on the District 3 ballot. The District 5 ballot included incumbent Don McNelly and challenger Scott Helton. The District 7 ballot included Dennis Cardin, Stan Giles and Fred Goins.
