Samuel C. Finster, Sr.
Samuel C. Finster, Sr. is a municipal court judge for the Municipal Court of Summerville in Georgia. He became a judge for the Municipal Court of Summerville in 1985.[1]
Finster is also a former state court judge for the Chattooga County State Court.[2][3] He became a judge for the Chattooga County State Court in 2006. Finster was defeated in his bid for re-election in 2014 and stepped down from the bench at the end of his last term in December 2014.[1][4][5]

Finster ran for re-election to the Chattooga County State Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on May 20, 2014, after receiving 42.9 percent of the vote. He competed against John R. Dennis.

Education
Finster received his undergraduate degree from Troy State University and his J.D. degree from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law.[6]
Military service
Finster served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star with V Device for heroism, the Silver Star, and the Infantryman's Badge.[1]
Career
Finster served as a state court judge for the Chattooga County State Court from 2006 to 2014.[1]
