Samuel Dillin
Samuel Hugh Dillin (1914-2006) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.[1]
Dillin was nominated by President John F. Kennedy on September 14, 1961, to a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 21, 1961, and received his commission on September 22nd. From 1982-1984, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on March 31, 1993. He served the Southern District of Indiana until his death on March 13, 2006.[1]
