Samuel Fortier is the nonpartisan Seat B representative on the Sequoia Estates Limited Road Service Area (LRSA) in Alaska. Fortier won a new term in the general election on April 4, 2017.

The city of Anchorage, Alaska, held elections for city council on April 4, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 10, 2017. Six of the 11 city council seats were up for election.[1] Incumbent Samuel Fortier ran unopposed in the general election for Seat B on the Sequoia Estates LRSA board.[2]
