Samuel Green
Samuel Green was a senior associate justice on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Governor Cuomo designated him to this position on February 25, 1983.[1] He retired from the court at the end of 2011.[2]
Education
Judge Green received his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1967. He is now married to Ernestine Green.[1][3]
Career
Judge Green began his legal career in 1983 as a private practice lawyer. He worked in this capacity until 1973, when he was appointed to the Buffalo City Court. He was elected to the Supreme Court of the State of New York in November of 1978. He now serves on the Appellate Division.[1]
