I grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and graduated from Shaker Heights High School. I've been involved in politics since graduating high school, and before that I interned on a campaign at the recommendation of my parents. I am currently finishing up a degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and I work for the Mayor of Shaker Heights.
  • We need new, progressive leadership in Ohio and the United States. Establishment politicians are more focused on enriching themselves than actually making the world a better place. My generation's future is at risk as these politicians continue to steal from the poor to give to the rich.
  • Affordability is a crisis and we need a government that is working to fix that. Home prices, rents, and property taxes are soaring, making housing unaffordable, doctors visits and hospital stays are absurdly expensive, and education is unreasonable for most Americans to afford without a loan. We need a government committed to providing affordable housing, universal healthcare, and free public college and trade school.
  • The most vulnerable groups in Ohio are under attack from state and national leaders. Republicans across Ohio continue to attack minorities, slashing so-called DEI programs. State and national leaders also attack our queer and trans youth, threatening their access to medical care and even their lives. Ohio also is one of the states where conversion therapy remains legal. We need a government that will stand up to these abuses and protect our most vulnerable.
I am personally passionate about public education, and ensuring that everyone has a right to an excellent, free education. The foundation of our democracy is having excellent schools that educate our entire community.
Honesty, Transparency, Devotion, Adaptation

A representative elected for the people must be completely honest and transparent about who they really represent. They must tell people if they take PAC money or meet with lobbyists, and they must explain why they vote a certain way, so people can understand if they're being bought and paid for. They must also be devoted to the causes they campaigned on, and unwilling to compromise their beliefs when confronted by lobbyists and special interests, to ensure that the will of their constituents is represented. Finally, they must be ready to adapt, to take advantage of every political situation, and they must listen to their constituents when they protest, write, and call.
I would like to leave a legacy of having made Ohio a better place, having lowered prices of housing, healthcare, and education for all Ohioans, and having protected and expanded their rights and protections for minorities and vulnerable groups.
Yes, especially due to the makeup of the Ohio legislature. The districts are so gerrymandered that it will be necessary to get bipartisan support to pass any legislation, so it is paramount to have relationships with other legislators.
Yes, because emergency powers are often abused by the executive branch to expand their power, at the expense of the people.
A bill to ban corporations from buying up huge amounts of homes, which drives up prices. I would seek to restrict corporations and individuals to buying a maximum of 5 homes, unless developing affordable housing.
Commerce and Labor, Health, Workforce and Higher Education, Ways and Means, Development
All elected officials should at minimum publish their financial records, showing what stocks they own and trade, who contributes to them, and what they stand to gain/lose financially from voting. In an ideal world, all elected officials would be barred from owning any stock, accepting any gifts over $100, and elections would be publicly funded.
