Samuel Towell
Samuel Towell is a member of the Virginia State Corporation Commission. He assumed office on March 20, 2024. His current term ends on January 31, 2028.
He was elected to the commission by the Virginia General Assembly in 2024 to replace Judith Jagdmann to a term ending on January 31, 2028.[1]
Biography
Towell has served as the Virginia’s Deputy Attorney General for Civil Litigation. Towell also served as the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry under Gov. Terry McAuliffe and as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Finance under Gov. Mark Warner. He worked in the private sector at McGuireWoods LLP and Williams Mullen, P.C.[2]
