San Mateo-Foster City School District Measure T was on the ballot as a referral in San Mateo-Foster City School District on November 3, 2020. It was approved.

A “yes” vote supported authorizing the San Mateo-Foster City School District to issue up to $409 million in bonds with bond revenue going to fund classroom upgrades, repair of bathrooms, roofs, plumbing, sewer, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, upgrades to technology for distance learning, and health and safety features and requiring an estimated property tax levy of $30 per $100,000 in assessed value.

A “no” vote opposed authorizing the San Mateo-Foster City School District to issue up to $409 million in bonds with bond revenue going to fund classroom upgrades, repair of bathrooms, roofs, plumbing, sewer, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, upgrades to technology for distance learning, and health and safety features and requiring an estimated property tax levy of $30 per $100,000 in assessed value.


A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure T.

Ballot title

The ballot title for Measure T was as follows:

To upgrade classrooms for science, technology, engineering, math, art and music instruction; repair deteriorating bathrooms, roofs, plumbing, sewer, electrical, heating and cooling systems; provide computers/technology for distance learning, healthy and safe learning environments, including handwashing stations; acquire, construct, repair sites, facilities, equipment; shall San Mateo-Foster City School District's measure authorizing $409,000,000 in locally controlled bonds at legal rates, levying on average 3 cents/$100 assessed value ($26,600,000 annually) while bonds are outstanding, be adopted, with independent citizen oversight/audits?
