Sandra Gaffney was a 2014 Democratic and Vermont Progressive Party candidate for Washington District of the Vermont State Senate.[1]

Elections for the Vermont State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Washington has three state senators. Incumbent Ann Cummings, incumbent Anthony Pollina and Sandra Gaffney were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent William Doyle, Pat McDonald and Dexter Lefavour were unopposed in the Republican primary.[2][3][4][1] Cummings, Doyle and Pollina defeated Lafavour, McDonald and Gaffney in the general election.[5]
